Things have been settled and working as expected for the past 20 minutes, I'm happy that this DNS issue has now been fixed.
Thanks again for everyone's understanding. We plan to have a proper debrief with our service provider in the coming days to understand what's behind these reliability issues, and what changes can be made to improve things.
A fix is now in place, and things look to be working again. We'll be keeping a close eye on things for the next little while.
Our service provider has traced the source of the problem, and are now working on a fix.
Our service provider has confirmed it does indeed appear to be DNS related, and that they're investigating the cause of the issue.
