Traffic appears to have moved over to the secondary DNS system exactly as designed so we've not seen any impact for customers, everything is operating as normal.
The DNS provider has now acknowledged the issue and implemented a fix, we'll update again once we have final confirmation.
For the past 30 minutes or so monitoring is showing that 1 of our 2 DNS providers is currently experiencing an outage, which may intermittently impact our availability.
Traffic should automatically failover to our second provider, so we hope this won't have too much impact on our customers.
